Titbit:  The Comet is 83 years old now.  It has been built three times during its lifetime.  The Comet began it’s rides in 1927 at the Cyclone at Crystal Beach in Ontario, Canada.   Its first name was Cyclone; and after the rebuilt in 1947, it opened as the Comet in 1948.  After the closure of Crystal Beach it was auctioned; and the wining bidder was the Great Escape.  It costs the Great Escape $3.5 million.
