Titbit: Miniature Golf began in
the early 1900's as 'golf in miniature' or a short game of regulation golf. Some
courses even had caddies, and was one of the first sports to be played in the
evening, usually under lights of billboards. After the stock market crash,
regulation miniature golf became too expensive, and then became the game of "Rinkiedink'
golf -- a game using scavenger ideas. New ideas sprung for more elaborate
scavenge and continued to the miniature golf as we know it today.
