Why go to Myrtle Beach and the other famous golf places, when golf is abundant in the Park and you can get more for your $ and explore 'other' great Adirondack places with the family?  Please explore our list of golf courses.  Malone Gold Club and Saranac Inn Golf Club were rated **** 1/2 star (out of 5 stars) in the "2004 Golf Digest's Best Places to Play".   The Craig Wood Golf Course was designed by Graig Wood who won the US Open and Masters..  The Lake Placid Club's Mountain Course was designed by Alistair Mackenzie, the same architect as Augusta National and Cypress Point.  Also, the Saranac Inn Golf Club was recognized by the Golf Digest as one of the four US courses 100 years or older to receive  4 1/2 stars.
