Sweet beginnings start in the Adirondacks. Call them before visiting!
| Settlers were taught by the Native American how to tap maple trees for their sweet surprise. Hot rocks evaporated the sweet sap until only the "Sinzibukwud" (sugar) remained. Pioneers would boil a year's supply. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup. |
