Adirondack Museum Directory

| The Adirondack is so rich in heritage, we
couldn't help ourselves bragging about our many museums. Below are local museums
and societies helping to bring our heritage alive.
Imagine over 200+ years ago, our soldiers were called to battle on this field at our famous Fort Ticonderoga. Thomas Jefferson and George Washington returned to the Park more than once, and Teddy Roosevelt spent many a summers here in his youth. We invite you to enjoy your summers here in the Adirondacks too! Please enjoy, and bring the entire family. Essex County along brings in more than 80 cultural organizations hosting hundreds of events. Be sure to check out every Chamber for current events! Also be sure to check our Cultural Section for today's history of fun performances. If we have omitted your museum or society, please contact us so we can post promptly (FREE). By sharing, we better our world. (pop-links - it may be necessary to turn off your pop protector for these functions, or you may "control" click.) |
