Winter Events

BURRRH ... the Adirondack lakes freeze over every year for some great ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating; and the snow blankets our mountain peaks and valleys for some great downhill and cross country skiing too!  Winter white is a great color in the Adirondacks.

Adirondack ski resorts enjoy providing guests with a challenging alpine chute, fields of cross country, equestrian sleigh rides, and snow shoe scenic trails.  We have miles and miles of snow trails, and the Bunny slopes are abound for our little tots.   Après Ski, or any reason for Après is enjoyed by all!  Hot chocolate or hot tardies anyone?

Enjoy our directories.   Please explore and return often.  If you are a local sport's facility, or event coordinator, that we have missed, please contact us so we can post your business or organization (FREE of charge!).

We also invite stories of our winter wonderland.  Share your memories by getting published (FREE byline).  Amateurs to professionals, everyone is a writer!  (well ... even if we're not a good writer, we'll help polish the tale up <G>).  By sharing, we better our world.  Join us! Below are list of ideas to beat the winter blues!

SNOW DIRECTORY

The Adirondack's summer are complimented by its winter white dressing, sparkling diamond crystals.  Come and enjoy the exhilarating  rush of a black diamond trail, the pulse of a good cross country run, the snuggling sleigh ride with a loved one, the giggles of spiral snow tube rider, the snow sled ride of miles through nature forests, the dance on skates, the spectator cheers of bobsleds, the bragging of the day ice fish catch.  Whatever your winter white flavor, it is here in the Adirondacks to enjoy!
